To clean the acrylic dispenser, start off by gently blowing away any loose dust or dirt that could cause scratches. Then, use a micro-fiber cloth with a mild solution of soap and water to clean the entire surface. After wetting the cloth, lightly blot the surface rather than applying pressure as you wipe, as excess pressure can result in scratches. After wiping with soapy water, rinse well with clean water and use a dry micro-fiber cloth to dry and buff the surface. If there are any remaining streaks, repeat the process.
IMPORTANT: There are some cleaning products we recommend you avoid as they can cause damage to the surface of the acrylic:
- Do not use paper towels to wipe the acrylic surface because they will cause scratches. Only use micro-fiber types of cloth.
- Avoid ammonia based products, acetone, and other window or glass cleaners, because they contain chemicals that will damage the surface and leave it looking cloudy. Soapy water is the safest and most effective cleaning solution.
